Anyone have any scrapbooking tips? I guess you could say I’m a “beginner”. I’ve only been doing scrapbooking for a few months.

Scrapbooking is really fun and can result in amazing products if you remember:
-don’t use too many colors. they confuse people. try to stick with 4 or 5 colors at the most. usually 3 or 4 is fine, maybe two main contrasting colors, and a variation of each for embellishing.
-each page should have a focal point. the rest of the decoration should go with the theme of the focal point, but also try to make it interesting. trycomplementary colors for focal points and decorations. (complementary colors are colors on opposite sides of the color wheel)
- try to have good color schemes. a bad color can ruin a whole entire page. they tend to stick out like a sore thumb in scrapbooking, so select your theme colors with care.
-avoid overcrowding. too much stuff draws attention away from the focal point. remember, simpler is better
-stickers rock! you can get all kinds of stickers at any craft store or Michael’s.
